CYBERNETICS, OR GHOSTS?: STORIES FROM MYTH TO A.I. OUT NOW!

The literary anthology ‘Cybernetics, or Ghosts? — Stories from Myth to A.I.’ and the 20th anniversary compilation from Subtext are now available widely online and in select bookshops!

Edited by writer and artist Michael Salu, fifteen of today’s most daring writers from across the globe respond to Italo Calvino’s seminal essay ‘Cybernetics and Ghosts’ with rich and expansive works of fiction. In this 1967 essay, Calvino traces language development from mythology to a speculative future of automatic writing systems.
